Well, the reason I posted this in this section is because...... With great joy I'm leaving the scene of production.
This isn't a boohoo thread or one of "I'm quitting til you all like me, then I might stay". I've quit before for a while, but I think for me as Sparkz/Lucky strike, the days of making anything else now has gone. I've grown, moved on and I even went into making parodies (one being about my pug, Winston, with me singing.... that was cringe) as production does nothing for me anymore.
To cut it short. Years back, I remember being at the Crystal rooms in Hereford (under age of course, it must have been around 2002, I was 16, to see the legend that is Stompy. We had a good chat and there was me pulling out a record sleeve from my pocket for Stompy to sign (I didn't want to take the record "Stay with me" out as I thought it could get broken).
I've always been a huge fan of him and always wanted to try and do my own version of "come follow me".
Thinking Stompy had written it and got Rach to sing it, I had given up on ever being able to remix it without getting someone to sing it as sort of "unofficially" bootying Stompy.
I found out a while back it wasn't an original at all and was from the film "Short circuit".
So all good, I don't mind "ripping off" some huge multi billion quid studio.
Well, with knowing that and to go out with a bang, I'd personally love to finish with a Sparkz/Lucky strike version of "follow me".
So if anyone has access to a vocalist who could sing those lines, or can do it themselves, it would be much appreciated for this final, last ever production before I'm gone from it all. I've lost all my vocalist contacts sadly.
Plus, it's my birthday today so hoping someone could help with getting vocals sorted for this final ever production by myself.

TY mate, I hope all goes well for you too. Without ranting on, I think the time comes when staying up til 5am after 10 hours of production just isn't on the mind anymore. Walking the dog, getting out in the countryside or even just browsing shops are the things that truly matter and make an impact on a short life we all live. Not all those hours at a computer screen clicking squares and rectangles.

The Raver Baby version was remixes of the Force & Styles track, the Stompy tune is totally different?

It wasn't featured on raver baby label or anything and from what I recall was unreleased.
It was featured on an album (maybe even a mixtape around 2007/08?), then a guy uploading dubplates to youtube upped it ages ago, although it didn't remain uploaded for long for some reason.
I'm quite sure it was tagged as "Stompy - Follow me (Flyin remix)".

Flyin' vs. Adam L and Sparky - "Come and Follow Me"
Seems like it fits the description. Only thing is I don't remember if it was a free download or if I got it on imodowload.
looking as I write this...
seems like it was imodownload as discogs has it under "f.a.s.t music" which was definitely one of Sparky's and Flyin's labels on that site.

Got full version dloading I think anyway. It's a pack filled with other stuff but at least it's dloading.... Will post up here IF the shitty speed limit of the dload link doesn't make it time out and if it's not after 2 hours "please enter rar password"
