I need a bit of advise, but only if u have any experience in using these dex. I am gonna get some new decks and a mixer.
I have settled on a PMC-170A mixer but cany decide on PDX2000 or SL1210's as dex. A lot of reviews i have read put PDX's at 5/5 and rate them better than SL1210's. This would seem to indicate that the SL1210's are just living on there reputation. Which would u choose and why?

SL1210's are not the latest model, SL1200 M3DS are the latest model... Perhaps check them out.
I have never used PDX's nor ever seen them in a club, why change something that's not broke?

Not sure... I have seen them when I was in Australia, perhaps they were imports, I have them because I am working in Tokyo at the moment :)

The SL 1200 MKII and SL 1210 MKII are the same. The only differince is that 1200 MKII is silver and 1210 MKII is black. (there are also some black 1200 MKII but it's all the same) But these are the famous ones, that you can find in almost every club
Then came the newer model out, the SL 1200 M3D
It is the same as a normal SL 1200 MKII but with a pitch reset button and maybe some other updates you don't need.
But for your question, the vestax are maybe better (for scratching) but like silver said the 1200/1210 MKII are the standard and they never brake.

Actually one of the reasons there is a pitch reset button is that sometimes (I don't know when or why) the SL1200's MK2's make a small clicking noise in the sound single when your move the pictch past 0. I will take a photo of my SL1200 MK3DS's for the forum and we can all check it.
