both in the studio and the DJ booth. A versatile leader for the genre as a whole, Crissy is now a
household name in broadcasting, DJing and production.
As well as delighting crowds in live events, Crissy began to use his ear to play the best tunes on
the airwaves. Getting his first break on the legendary Kool FM at 10 years old, Crissy took his first
steps to becoming one of DnB?s most important broadcasters. Regularly playing with Logan D at
the age of 15, Crissy soon graduated from Kool FM, stepping up to BBC?s national Radio 1. The
youngest DJ presenter to ever grace the BBC?s flagship station, Crissy Criss first started on

Residency?, An idea championed by Pete Tong. the Residency saw the likes of Eddie Halliwell,
Nic
Fanciulli & Kutski share a weekly radio slot. After three years, Radio 1Xtra bosses realized what the
likes of Kenny Ken and Kool FM already knew, and gave Crissy his own permanent show in 2007.
Keeping the BBC?s flagship urban station on the pulse of underground music, Crissy led 1Xtra

Best Radio Station awards at the prestigious Drum & Bass Awards in 2008, 2009, 2013, 2014.

Few DJs put as much energy, intensity and insanity into their performances as DJ VENOM. He
continues to relentlessly tour the continent, unleashing his signature sounds to packed dance
floors of sweat covered fans. This New England native has been a major figure in the North
American rave scene for over two decades, wowing crowds with his flawless mixing, floor-filling
beats and crazy turntable tricks. In 1994, Venom started Volume Productions, a rave oriented
company dedicated to the advancement of the underground electronic scene. Not only did Volume
release over 70 DJ Venom mix tapes, but they also were bent on breeding an army of party-goers
by throwing numerous raves and events, including the famous ENERGY night. Venom also gained
notoriety for his sick scratching and turntable skills that earned him numerous awards in
competitions and battles throughout the years, including two second place finishes at the WMC
battles in Miami. In 2000, Venom signed with the legendary Underground Construction label out of
Chicago. His hard house sound was a perfect match and he began releasing a series of top-selling
CDs including the ?Straight Bangin'? series, the ?House Blend? series and the ?Raise
the Volume?
series. Today, Venom continues to champion the hard dance sounds, releasing an arsenal of
headbanging hard house, hardstyle and hardcore tracks. He continues to put out mix CDs on his
own label, Morlock Musik, as well as various side projects under the aliases of Scratch Gringo and
Eddie Brock. After 20+ years behind the decks, Venom continues to breathe life into the
underground scene, and he doesn?t plan on stopping.

Part-time pranksters. Full-time music partners. Matt Mason and Rick Nielsen are Corduroy
Mavericks. Weird name but fitting for the two creative forces. Is there a story behind CMavs? Yes,
one that?s scribbled in sharpie and etched in random FB posts. It?s not about some type of
fabric
outlaw or rebellious outfit they once wore (although they both agree corduroy is the most musical
of all the fabrics?think about it). It?s just a name that just sounds cool. A name that rolls off
the
tongue with a rhythmic cadence. A name that is memorable?just like their music.
It all started with a chance meeting in 2005?in Kentucky of all places?land of bourbon and
horses
and about as out of the way in terms of house music as you can get. But that meeting sparked a
creative duo that has been a part of house music for more than a decade. A duo that has endured
the shifting of the musical landscape.
Having donned tracks for some of the most seminal labels in the industry from Drop Music,
Dufflebag, Tango, Hardkiss, Soul Fuel, Delecto, Sugar Shack, Flapjack, Odour, Coyote Cuts and
more. Hustling out more that 300 tracks over the course of their careers. Multiple top 10 chart
toppers and several number one hits have created a demand for them to play across the globe.
Today you can find Matt still living large in Lexington Kentucky and Rick enjoying the sunshine in
South Florida. Still working together. Still best of friends.
