The problem with Freeform that's naturally 190 is it tends to be quite long. There were 4 I wanted to play originally, but it would have hit the 24min mark, so too long :)

Not sure how everyone else sees it but i thought the idea behind hardcore history was to use HHC, Hardcore Breakbeat, UKH, Gabba, J-Core, J-Freeform, Gabba, Speedcore, Makina and maybe Splittercore, not other genres.
Other opinions are highly required

i think other genres are fine as long as they come under a form of hard dance ( uk hardcore, gabber, hardstlye, hard house, dnb, hardcore breaks etc .. ) just not commercial dance or shitty house and stuff like that
if its gonna be such a long mix i think variety is the key

not having a problem with varity but I'm kinda afraid that it needs another rule defining parts should include a majority of hardcore tracks, not really liking the idea of parts with a heavy hardstyle / hard house influence since its "hardcore history" not "harddance history"
i like claxtons part but this challenge should be like 95%+ hardcore

Hellfury: I don't think one or two tracks every now and then is a problem to be honest. After all, Hardcore IS a Hard Dance genre. Hard Dance wasn't orginally a genre in itself, just like EDM. It became as such due to a mingling of the sounds. Plus, alot of current Hard Dance (Technikal and the likes...) have started producing Hardcore and taken a lof of those elements from Hardcore into Hard Dance.

didnt meant that, I'm just a bit worried about upcoming parts where djs mix other genres and not actual hardcore. Dont get me wrong, I love all kinds of electronic music (except hardstyle) and varity is appreciated, just dont let it get out of hand, thats all
