Well here it is, the event people have been asking for since pretty much the first days of Echild. For those of you that remember Echild back when the forums were red in colour and had new messages once every two days, up to the new people of today who use Echild to find out everything they need, we want your support!
Come and support the website that has done so much for the scene and taken nothing in return. This is just the next step in the trend of giving that Echild has gotten into. The idea has been brought up many times, and now with all the talk of the rave scene "dying" Echild is going out on a limb to show that the commnunity is still there, that people still do support it. And so we present Echild : Underground Revival

This party is an event thrown for all the right reasons. Not for profit. Not for the glory of us as promoters. Not to further DJ careers - simply put, it's a rave the way a rave should be. With all the talk lately of how the scene is dying we're here to show you that it'll only die if we as party people let it. So join us, as we take it back underground, the way it should be. Forget the troubles of recent times, they don't exist anymore - it's up to us to make this event something special.
Leave your bad attitudes at home, and enjoy the adventure. Enjoy the excitement of calling the 1900 number to find the venue. Make a misison of it. Grab 5 friends, pile in the car and head to the venue, with your favourite mix cd pumping. Feel the excitement as you pull up to the carpark to see a bunch of ravers, just like you outside, ready for an awesome night. Walk in to the sound of pumping bass and smile as you realise that this night will be something special. A night of new friendships, great music and the underground community feeling that can only be found with a rave.
This is how it should be, this is how it used to be. No 3D World ad, no flyers in every second store in Sydney, no pole posters on main roads - we're not targeting the commercial crowd, we're not targeting every person we can get. This night is not about that - you'll be there because you want to be there, because you're in the know. Whether you find out from Echild, word of mouth or from a flyer handed to you personally, you will be there simply because you're a raver, a raver who wants to do it the way it should be done.
This is a night about joining together and making the scene something - it's only as good as the people behind it, and with the right mix of good attitudes, passion and vibe this night will be the start of something new. The night the rave scene is re-born. We have the power to to make it something good or to let it die. It's up to you!
ROAR IN EFFECT
ROAR - Rights of admission reserved. You see it on flyers, but is it ever upheld? Well it will be at this event. Our guards will be instructed to be particularly vigilant in ensuring the safety of all patrons. Our staff will be on the lookout for troublemakers. A stern warning to all thieves and people with wrong attitudes - we will eject you if you cause trouble. Simple as that.

There will be door sales on the night at a higher price ($15-$20). To avoid paying the higher price make sure you get your tickets early. We expect this event to sell-out. If the pre-sales sell out quickly we will print another 200 tickets, increasing pre-sales to 700. We want everyone to get a chance to come to this event and we'll be doing it as fairly as possible.
The cheapest and best way to buy tickets is pre-sale before the event. This ensures you get entry to the event and dont have to risk being turned away if the venue hits capacity. With a ticket you're guaranteed entry, door sales are never guaranteed.
