Just to carry on my tradition of whinging about small insignificant things that no-one really cares about ...
Am I the only one who finds it takes ages for the reply form to appear when replying to really long threads? I mean, I don't even bother with the Mixmag and 14yo threads anymore cuz I know I'll have time to do the three S's (and have a quick bat while I'm at it) before the Topic Review finishes loading. How 'bout a 25-post limit on the thing, or some other way to make life less difficult for your poorer not-so-broad-band members? Just a suggestion ...

Most of the other forums I'm on have a limit on the Topic Review - they usually only go back about 15-25 replies back into the thread. Like you said, though, I don't know how easy it would be with this forum package.

Ha Another POOR Bugger on a 56k Modem like myself :-(
But are you on a 56k modem coz you can't/won't upgrade your connection or because (Like Me) you live in an area where there is no BroadBand capabilities???

I'm on a 56k modem because finally upgrading to broadband will (a) give my piece-of-dog-excrement computer far more bandwidth than I think it deserves, and (b) represent a final acceptance of something that I have fought long and hard to deny, ie that I'm a net junkie.
That, and I'm a uni student who makes ends meet by working in a supermarket. I really can't afford it.
