i've started including some records into my wanted section, they appear fine in the wanted section and they appear on the record stats correctly but they also appear in my records owned section alongside the records i've included in there.
should this be happening?

are you trying to tell me that the following artists:
afrika bambaataa
dave the drummer
kai tracid
karim
lisa pin-up
nick rafferty
nick sentience
sneakerpimps
have made a happyhard tune???? i honestly don't believe this (POSSIBLY the hardhouse people, but afrika bambaataa and sneakerpimps??? you've got to be kidding me)
and i can understand you listing all the gabber people but i'm sure they'd take offence as being classified with happyhardcore
and why have red hed AND trixxy??? there is no happy hardcore tunes under the name red hed.
i hate to be rude but i don't understand why you have so many names on the list which you don't need, it seems that you're creating extra work for yourself??
drugs is not the answer... drugs? is the question... yes is the answer

So I dumped a whole bunch of artist names into the database from varies sources... there are bound to be mistakes.... once the record releases are entered and they don't have a release then they will be deleted... don't be offended by it.

I can name one person that didn't read the disclaimer on the record pages.
If you wish to help tell me who they are and what releases they are on.

I fixed another bug in which it did not update your forum record count stats unless you flicked private and public button, now it updates whenever you update your records details (add, edit, delete... etc.)

Changed the code so it doesn't display your record count if you have zero items (kinda pointless).

^^^ sure in the future, I didn't think it was a big thing people wanted, I thought more it better to track you own records, besides not all the records are in the system yet and until then no ones lists will be 100% complete.

one suggestion i would have, is for in the "release/track search" section, have the catalog # pop up when you run over the track names, like it does on the main page for the new additions.. :)

Okay ...
(1) Mouse over to the "Records" tab on the site header, and select "Label search" from the drop-down menu.
(2) Use the buttons to find the label that released the record that you want to add or remove from your "Own" or "Want" lists. You should end up in the record label profile, with a list of all the records released by that label that have been added to the database (the database is not yet complete, methinks).
(3) You'll notice a little white square with a blue downward-pointing triangle to the right of every record's entry. Find the record that you want to edit, and click the little triangle thing next to it.
The rest should be smooth sailing.
