Darren is one of the biggest names in Dance music. He is a DJ, Producer, Songwriter and Singer. Darren grew up in Clacton and went
to Colbaynes High School which is where he first realised his passion for music. After leaving school Darren became a resident DJ
at the legendary club Oscars on Clacton pier.
He teamed up with Paul Hobbs in 1992 and formed Force & Styles. Together they were responsible for a whole host of Hardcore
classics including Pretty Green Eyes, Heart Of Gold and Paradise & Dreams to name a few.
In 2001 Darren teamed up with Mark Breeze and formed Styles & Breeze, another very successful duo achieving UK chart hits with
Youre Shining and Heatbeatz.
For the past 5 years Darren has mixed and produced a CD for the Clubland X-Treme Hardcore album alongside Breeze and Hixxy. The
compilation remains the biggest selling hardcore album ever and has reached sales of over 800,000 copies across its five volumes.
Darren has won a number of hardcore awards during his career recently including Best DJ 2006 and 2007, Best Producer 2006 and
2008, Best Hardcore Tune 2006, 2008 and 2009. Also receiving Outstanding Contribution to Hardcore in 2009.
Darren still continues to DJ every week across the UK and worldwide including tours of Australia, America and Europe.
