Re-Stimulated Added by psilopsyben (0 Attending)

BAK-PAK PRODUCTIONS PROUDLY PRESENTS:

------------RE-STIMULATED AUG 13-15, 2010------------

We at Bak-Pak Productions have been bringing the dance scene quality events for years. We strive on bringing the best names in the underground dance scene. We aim to bring world renowned artists to the Midwest that have never played in our area. We have been
getting more people interested in more styles of music, and getting great DJs and producers more recognition.

We are proud to bring the Re-Stimulated Music Festival to Minnesota. We have music for all people. We will have Techno, House, Electro House, Fidget House, Drum n Bass, Dubstep, Hardcore, Happy Hardcore, Psy-Trance, Trance, and yes, we will even have jam bands
and metal bands!!

This venue is a virgin venue on beautiful, privately owned land. We will have 2 main stages and 1 side stage. The 2 main stages will be in two separate locations next 2 a river. There are lots of trees on the property for shady camping. Behind the venue we have
a 1000 acre forest reserve with a large lake about 2 miles in. This is a leave no trace venue. So pack out what you pack in. It is so beautiful, we want to leave it that way so we can keep coming back for years to come .

We have enlisted the help of a new, professional security team that is very friendly, yet still firm. We as a community have had the occasional bad experience with security teams that have been too aggressive and even sometimes just mean. That will not be the
case at Re-Stimulated. We will make sure everyone is safe and nobody feels violated by the people who are supposed to keep us safe.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lineup organized by genre:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HARDCORE
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HOW HARD (NYC - Hard Kryptic Records)
http://www.djhowhard.com/

One of the most recognized names in the NYC Hardcore Techno scene, How Hard, aka The Pied Piper of Hardcore has always been drawn to extreme sounds including an early affinity toward metal and punk. With a childhood background in music theory and years of
professional training in audio recording, he has consistently felt connected to music and sound. After many of mastering the guitar and drums in various bands as a teenager, his interests evolved in to something new. Hardcore became his calling and has
subsequently become his life. How Hard's style ranges from epic, synth-driven anthems to industrial influenced experiments.
------------------------------------------------------

DAN EFEX ***RARE HARDCORE SET!!!!*** (Chicago, IL)
http://www.danefex.com/

Dan Efex is well known for his ability to draw a frenzied excitement out of even the mellowest of crowds. It is not uncommon to see fans packed shoulder to shoulder, hands in the air, as he leads them through an energetic and intoxicating journey on the dance
floor. There are many who consider him to be one of the founders of the Midwests trance scene, a scene that is still strong and growing today. He was one of the first to introduce the Midwest to the soaring build-ups and powerful explosions characteristic of
some of his styles of trance. But although Dan is perhaps best known for his trance, do not be fooled -- he is as diverse as he is skilled! His repertoire of past events includes sets with progressive trance, psychedelic trance, hard techno, hard core, hard
house, slow breaks, tribal and ambient. He mixes it up and keeps it interesting. His unfailing ability to read the crowd and know precisely what to plug in ensures that he leaves no stragglers behind on his musical excursions.
------------------------------------------------------

TRACATAK (Farmingdale, NY - Vitus)
http://www.myspace.com/tracatak

Tracatak took up spinning at the early age of 15. He started out as a hip hop DJ playing at local teen clubs. He was the typical hip hop scratch DJ, which is where his DJ name came from to attack the tracks. He did this for a few years until he was old enough
to go to night clubs. This is where he discovered electronic music which opened his eyes to a whole new world of dance music. He was instantly inspired by the dance floor grooves and the mixing style of the progressive house DJs. But it wasnt until he stumbled
across some hardcore techno records at a local record store that he realized what he wanted to pursue. After hearing this new sound he was immediately hooked and this changed his whole focus as a DJ.

Currently his sound contains elements of hardcore, techno, and industrial. And when he's on the decks he'll either drop a high energy techno or schranz set, or a darkcore and doomcore set, and sometimes a bit of both! He likes to play for the crowd, and will
either spin to get the dance floor grooving, or drop tracks that will satisfy even the most elitist hardcore enthusiasts. Either way he's got a style of his own and he aims to please across a broad spectrum audience. So be on the lookout for the future sounds
of Tracatak (also known as the Doom Raider") either from the Industrial Strength label or right here from us at Vitus!

Early Hardstyle/Industrial Hardcore

WARNING CLASSIFIED INFORMATION! READING THIS WILL MAKE YOU SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUST! One cold winter night in Moscow, after a meltdown at a nuclear powerplant, Punch**** was irradiated with gamma rays of bass. With early exposure to psytrance, he began his
mutation into a raving lunatic. After escaping the clutches of crazy KGB scientists, Punch**** emigrated to Switzerland, where constant exposure to hard trance, hardstyle and hardcore warped his mind, allowing demons to possess his soul. With the newfound help
of Abaddon, Abraxas, Adramelech, Dagon, Ifrit, Mephistopheles, Lucifer and especially the seductress Rusalka, Punch**** was awakened to his true calling: to spread sodomy, fear, pain, and orgasms to the ears of everyone across the world. Punch**** now travels
between Chicago and various parts of Europe, luring virgin boys into his rituals to be sacrificed to the gods of distortion. Get down on your knees, choke on Punch****'s disease!

GLOSOLALIA (Buenos Aires, Argentina - Dark Prisim Records)
http://www.myspace.com/glosolalia

Glosolalia is Martin Biderman, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He started his musical career playing guitar in Nu Metal bands until he met electronic music in parties done in his home city. Looking for more intense music he came across psychedelic trance
through Russian projects such as Fungus Funk and Parasense, but it was Psykovskys debut album that changed his perspective in music and psychedelic trance around 2006. From that moment on he started to make music as Glosolalia, concept that describes the
language a person speaks when he is in trance or mystical ecstasy. Looking for a way to talk this language through music, he started to make psychedelic trance in his laboratory in Florida, creating his own style and developing his own tricks, which surprised
his scene a lot. Looking to touch his listeners hearts, Martin makes powerful and strong tracks filled with emotional atmospheres dripping beauty. Combining the brutal of destruction and the beautiful of creation, his sound explorations are designed to heal the
soul of its listeners, and this can only be done by digging deep inside of them, thats why he is not afraid to try high bpms, new technologies and experimental ideas.

shrouded with dark shit). This love continued to stay with me until this day. I don't know why but i feel like the darkness keeps me safe. My goal is to play the darkest most twisted dance music ever. My reason for this is not to scare kids or promote negative
energy, but to help people and myself deal with demons, life problems, and stress through really powerful dancing. This will in turn help them to be more positive and happy

J.Rabbit was on raised on the Los Angeles Drum n Bass scene. Attending all night dance parties at a young age, J.Rabbit, with already an extensive knowledge of musical instruments and musical theory, learning to play such instruments as the saxophone, trumpet,
piano, guitar and bass, began teaching himself to spin records. He learned quickly, and became a local resident DJ for Club Dollhouse in Long Beach California. After a few months, and a closing club, J.Rabbit headed for New York City. With a strong rooted
foundation in The Bronx, J.Rabbit started to make his name known in the party scene. Coming in contact with a familiar DJ, Funktipuss Jones, J.Rabbit and The Funk opened up a free Drum n Bass weekly in Times Square, NY every Wednesday night dubbed Bassalicious,
and founded Beats Anonymous Productions. At Bassalicious, J.Rabbit shared the stage with popular DJs such as DJ Dara, DB, Terravita and other local favorites such as DJ Odi and Jen Mas. Coming in contact with other local favorites such as Psynikill, Trakatak, &
Mama C, he was asked to join one of New York City's longest standing veteran crews, Vitus Productions, which was founded by Jen Mas. All along this time, J.Rabbit while playing parties and making a name for himself was learning to produce music with the aid of
Terravita/Hot Pink Deloreans, Mr. Matt. Then in 2009, his first remix was released B.Rich feat. Reese Make Me Dance (J.Rabbit Remix) on Party Like Us Records. Shortly after this, his first EP Im So Happy was released on Reid Speeds label Play Me Records, he
also has releases with Hot Pink Deloreans label Delorean Music Company and NYC jump up icon, Hokillas label Digital Terror Records. J.Rabbit has always been committed to bringing to light new and interesting sounds to the dance floor, weather its a deep womp
from wobble, or a screeching hi-pitch note hold, or all over the place Jump Up Drum n Bass, or high energy Dubstep. J.Rabbit has always wanted to catch the dance floors attention. Between playing out his own tunes, which have been quoted as being the best Jump
Up made in America or the way Dubstep should be, and sharing the stage with such djs as Simon Bassline Smith, Aragon, Dara, Craze, and Pendulum, just to name a few, J.Rabbit cannot be missed. So if youre out at a club, and the beat switches to something with a
bit more personality, beware, J.Rabbit is most likely in control of the dance floor now!

ENTACTOGENICS (Dever, CO)
http://www.myspace.com/entactogenics

ENTACTOGENICS - The word "entactogen" is derived from the roots "en" (Greek: within), "tactus" (Latin: touch) and "gen" (Greek: produce). The study or science of that which brings people together.

Current members MikeyRad and Colt Magnum started producing together in 2009. Their music, like all dance music, is made in most basic ideas, of rhythm and energy. It speaks to you deep inside of your human being. It's hip hop, it's dubstep, it's electronica.
Their albums are anything and everything that is made up of rhythm and energy, and speaks directly to the primal urges inside of you. It's not only the energy of their compositions, not only the sound coming from the speaker, but the atmosphere of the place and
time you occupy when watching their set. This is the science, this is Entactogenics.

TRACATAK (Farmingdale, NY - Vitus)
http://www.myspace.com/tracatak
schranz/hard techno

MONOLITH (Bloomer, WI - Rapid Pulse)

http://soundcloud.com/monolith/unleashed
schranz/hard techno

Eric Cardona a.k.a MONOLITH has always liked the harder styles of music. Growing up listening to Iron Maiden and Metallica as the years went by being drawn to Black, death, doom and hardcore metal. He eventually found his love for electronic dance music in 1998
when he attended his first EDM event. In no way giving up his love for the darker side of metal, has put it on the back burner as he learned how to spin trance and techno. MONOLITH has been 10 years in the making, starting out on belt drive hand me downs before
he owned his own, then to tech 1200's and finally to cdj's/laptop. He finds it as a natural and exciting progression in dj'ing platforms, but still has a love for vinyl. MONOLITH's style ranges from hard trance to dark hard techno/schranz to hardstyle, never
forgetting his dark side when playing his sets. He has aggression in his techno, energy in his hardstyle, and hard uplifting frequency's in his hard trance, always striving for creativity and to keep you on the dance floor!

SOTA (Rogers, MN - Bottled Up Funk)
http://www.myspace.com/sota_the_trance_dj
everything tech

Sota started djing in late 2000 playing house music at house parties around the Twin Cities. He played to mostly the Asian underground dance community in his early days of djing. Sota discovered trance when he went to go check out Tiesto at The Quest in 2001.
Thats when everything changed for him. He had never heard anything like that before. Tiesto was his biggest influence on changing his style to the trance sound. He embraced that sound with everything he had.

Sota has continued his journey as a dj by joining forces with the Top Asian promotional events group called Kind Beats in 2004, and everything since then has been a dream come true. By joining this group, he has played for the biggest crowd in the Midwest at
the Myth Nightclub, he opened up for one of the biggest trance producers Above & Beyond at Foundation Nightclub, Christopher Lawrence at Epic and has earned a reputation as one of the top djs in the Kind Beats Crew.

Sota has now left Kind Beats and has co-found Bottled Up Funk with DJ Herman Dan, a group full of young and talented djs from the TC.

So what is next for Sota? Who knows, but all we can really expect from Sota is that he will always give it more than 200% when hes behind the decks.

DJ CLEAR (St. Louis Park, MN - Sound In Motion)
http://simshows.com/resident-djs/clear/
http://www.Facebook.com/Ben.Clear

DJ Clear is in lovenot with a stripper, but with house music. If you gave him the chance, hed shout it from the rooftops, but youre better off catching him behind the decks, working his special brand of four-on-the-floor magic. Even though Clear is a veteran of
the Minneapolis dance scene, hes hardly letting his relationship with the music slip into a pattern of lazy comfort. No, his passion for the pounding beat is unmistakable as he gets his whole body into the mix; shoulders lurching, hips rocking, and a pair of
hands busy at work. His selections mirror his enthusiasm, picking high energy music for people that want to party until sunrise.

Starting out as an integral part of Teopelli Productions in 2001, Clear put in long days (and longer nights) of hard work to perfect his craft and make every event the best it could be. An early partnering with J. Matthews (now a member of HotDish) formed duo
Midnight Click, in which Clear expanded his lexicon of house music and became accustomed to playing a wide range of styles. Now, as a part of dance titans Sound In Motion, he has honed his sound to a bleeding edge, gravitating toward a grimy, funky sound thats
been known to inspire more than a few dance floor freak-outs. Under the covers or on the decks, DJ Clear will make you scream for more.

really excited by classic EDM sounds and grooves that have been twisted in a new way. While I will always hold true to the 4/4 house beat, I refuse to segregate my sets into strictly one genre or another. I take what works and build on it, always looking for a
way keep a connection to the past while fully embracing the sounds of the future. Love him or hate him, you cant help but be captured by the energy and intensity of Caustics sets and stage presence.

PIERRE (Minneapolis, MN - Bottled Up Funk)

Pierre had been nagged by Ville Thao for a long time to start DJing, and after seeing DJ Herman Dan get his start, he finally decide to do it. He wanted to get the basics of mixing down so badly that he never came up with a DJ name, and still has yet to come up
with one. Not wanting to stick to one genre of music, Pierre has experimented with everything from Trance to Techno to Breaks. Starting out DJing for Kindbeats, he eventually joined the Bottle'd Up Funk crew. DJing at Overstimulated was a great stepping stone
for him, and he plans on showing his versatility at the Re-Stimulated music festival by playing a different genre for each set. Making people groove to his tracks is, and forever will be, his mission. Hmmmm, maybe that's why he hasn't come up with a DJ name.

artist. From classic rock and bluegrass remixes to traditional house, breaks, and hip hop, s.T.M.e. Doesn't like to follow the rules. By relying highly on improvisation and letting the internal voices direct the musical flow, the Self Transforming Machine Elves
help s.T.M.e. create a unique cross genre musical experience.

CHERS(BOTTLED UP FUNK)

In full, he is named CherChi Xiong. On stage, he is known as DJ Cher Xiong. Born and raised in Green Bay Wisconsin, Cher moved to Minnesota at the age of 10. As High school progressed, he often found himself not in tuned with the importance of education and
academics, but rather, in tuned with the importance of fun and trouble. It was later that he would soon realize that hanging around the wrong crowd and lacking the proper self motivation would prove daunting towards his education in the years that followed. As
a result, he never made it on time to graduation alongside most of his friends.
But it was in the summer of 2008 that would change his life forever. It was during that time that one of his friends persuaded him to go to a Kind Beats party held a local club. Cher has always loved EDM but never before had he heard it in such a magnitude!
Quickly he fell in love with all the different types of EDM that was played that night. After the club, he met up with a relative that knew some of the Kind Beats members and she invited him over to the after party that they called, Jam Sessions.
It was thru attending this very first jam sessions that he was soon befriended by a few Kind beats members. In particular, he met Tou Fue Yang (DJ J.O.L), Sherman Yang (DJ Herman Dan), and Leng lor (DJ Leng) and little did he know it was these guys that would
not only inspired him to DJ, but also inspire him to straighten out the curves and edges in his life.
Shortly, it was through attending multiple jam sessions that allowed him to not only explore the music in a deeper context but to also explore the art of DJing and the particular styles of EDM he found himself more in tuned with. In the mix of things, Cher soon
learned the ropes of dj'ing and loves gracing the decks every time he gets the chance. If its ELECTRO he spins, it better be bangin'!

thrown. He watched these two improve in less than a year; Johnny decided to get into DJing himself when his older brother bought a set of DJ equipment. He was invited into Kind Beats as a street promoter. He didnt really get the chance to get behind the decks
until he and a couple others decided to form their own crew, Bottled Up Funk not too long ago. Johnny is open to any genre, but he prefers to play banging Electro House with a little bit of Trance on the side.

DJ HERMAN DAN (St. Paul,MN - BOTTLED UP FUNK)
http://www.myspace.com/da_shermanator69
Break beats, House, Electro, E-hop

As a kid, having been exposed to dance music, His love for dancing quickly took shape and has been an influence in more than half of his life. If asked, Sherman would say he is a BREAK BEAT junkie. Coming from a background of break dancing, it was the flow of
the funky beats that always made him want to decipher the music into stylish dance moves. This was his way of expression, appreciation, and purely thanking the music all together.

It was in January of 2009 that something sparked inside of Sherman. He realized that each time he and his friends threw parties; he was always exposed to some of the most exceedingly expensive industry standard DJ equipment and watched as other fellow DJ
members took turn manning the decks to please the crowd. In the mix of things, Sherman realized everyone had their particular style from distinctive genres yet no one was playing his style of music. Wanting to show and convey to everyone the distinctive music
that flows through his blood, he started sneaking behind the DJ booth when all the DJs were tired or at any chance he was given.

In the following month after, he and fellow crew member Tou Fue, teamed up along with a few others and created Friday sessions; where collectively, they started out learning how to DJ. In supporting one another, they would critique and confer pointers to each
other urging in the definitive direction of improvement and eventually perfecting the art of disc-jocking. Not having their own equipment, Sherman took it upon himself to beseech DJ friends and family as well as crew members to loan him their gears once every
Friday. Just after a few Fridays, the sessions became a scene of its own. Friday sessions became a simple place to hang out for DJs and aspiring DJs alike to not only test their new tracks, but to practice as well.
Sherman then went under the guidance of fellow established DJ crew members Sota and Leng. With much practice and passion, Sherman started to gain confidence and finally his sound matured into what it is today. With Sota and Leng walking every step with Sherman
and with the help of his wife and peers, he was soon given the alias, DJ HERMAN DAN(GEROUS). Known for his A.D.D style of music, Sherman quickly grew to be a crowd favorite and has played tunes that can get the whole house jumping. Today he is still on the
rise, playing whenever and wherever he can and promoting himself and his crew Bottled Up FunK.

DJ MK ( BOTTLED UP FUNK )

DJ MK has always had a passion for creativity, design, and all things musical. A true band geek and choir nerd throughout school, she once dreamed of a career in music. Of course, life happens and dreams change, but her appreciation for music has never
faltered. MKs love of electronic dance music started in the 90s and has only grown stronger ever since. This love of EDM shaped a fascination with the artists and DJs who were producing and mixing the tracks she was digging, and eventually she was no longer
content being a spectator. MK wanted to experience the rush of manipulating the tracks and connecting with the crowd first hand, so she finally became a student of the DJ ways in 2009. Already a promoter with Chozen One Productions, a worldwide club event
promotion company based in the Midwest, she was presented with the awesome opportunity to begin spinning at their bi-monthly club events, with her debut gig in February 2010. Although she has an appreciation for all genres, breakbeats definitely take the cake
for this evolving new DJ. MK maintains a philosophy that the DJ is one of the driving forces that helps to shape the vibe of the party, and knows there are big shoes to fill in this male-dominated industry (like at least a size 13.5). She is ready and willing
to take on this challenge, and hopes to rock the joint proper every time she spins.
--------------------------------------------------

DJ DOLLY (Minneapolis, MN - Bottled Up Funk)

Well it all started at Jam Sessions in early 2009. There were a lot of people that wanted to learn how to DJ and DJ Dolly was one of them. He started learning the basic of DJing but couldn't get it down. He gave up on DJing for about 3 months. Then he saw that
everyone that started the same time he did starting improving. So he went back on practicing the basics. He started off spinning Electro House and notice that there are a lot of people spinning that genre and wanted to spin a new one, so he decide to spin
breaks. DJ Dolly was part of Kind Beats but wasn't a DJ for them. Now he is part of Bottled Up Funk crew. He was given the name DJ Dolly because he and the Bottled Up Funk crew was in the parking lot after an event at the club and was putting the DJ equipment
away and out of nowhere he yelled out " dude we forgot the dolly." He was the one that brought the dolly to the car. He felt stupid afterwards. So thats how he got his name...
