KEVIN ENERGY
(N.E.C, FREEFORMATION, NU ENERGY - UNITED KINGDOM)
N.E.C. head honcho, Kevin Energy is firmly established as a DJ in the top echelon of Hardcore + Harddance, with promoters battering down his doors from the length and breadth of the UK and all around the World, for his undeniably diverse sound from ravey, party infused tracks to underground, acid fuelled stompers

Energised, always and musically innovative, there aren’t many crowd-pleasers in Hardcore that can rock a crowd quite like Kevin Energy who well deserves his ‘Best Harddance DJ 2006’ crown but for a man who earned his first big room rave sets before he was old enough to legally attend them it is hardly surprising. His fresh sound and ever enthusiastic mixing style make him a favourite behind the decks as he always delivers service with a smile and with more scratching and rockin’, upfront tracks than you can shake a glow stick at.

From the early days of Dream FM and ‘Hardcore Fever’ Kevin has moved from strength to strength. With running the Nu Energy Collective including some long established labels – Nu Energy, Relentless Vinyl, Liquid Hardcore Dynamix and NEC Live, brand new digital concepts and LIVE PA, Freeformation party nights, his Elevate Hard Dance crusade, Hardcore Heaven compilation mix and USA domination, Kevin is by far one of the busiest DJ’s/producers/promoters in the scene, but despite his insanely busy work ethic he will still be seen partying it up at events before and after his sets wearing oversized hats or Hawaiian shirts which is surely why he is a pioneer of the Wise Up, Get Stupid party ethic!

Whether it be his blistering Hardcore Heaven CD mixes, his explosive technically tight DJ sets at HTID, Slammin Vinyl or Raindance or even his rave rockin production work, Kevin always manages to balance a pacey, instantly uplifting energy with a forward thinking approach that pushes back the boundaries of Hardcore. Then of course there’s the brand new Freeformation ‘Wise Up Get Stupid’ album concept that has just taken the scene by storm – Hardcore has never looked so sweet!

With the launch of his all new worldwide mail order music store www.hardbeatstore.com and the all new N.E.C site www.nuenergycollective.com the future has never looked brighter for Kevin and the artists + labels that he works hard to promote. Now Kevin returns to his favourite party land downunder with his partner in crime Sharkey to spread the Wise Up and Get Stupid message of fresh party music + Ravin!

SHARKEY
(KAOTIK, RESIST, N.E.C, FREEFORMATION - UNITED KINGDOM)
Jon Sharkey is undoubtedly one of the most established names in the Hardcore scene. The legendary, jack of all trades has tried his hand at everything; starting in the early days of rave in ‘93 where he won countless awards for MC of the year, then moving on to production and DJing co-producing ‘Toytown’ one of the biggest anthems of the era on Essential Platinum and now in moulding the new talent of Hardcore and Freeform’s future. The like’s of K Complex, AMS and Arkitech to name just a few have evolved through Sharkey’s studio and tuition.

His highly anticipated second artist album ‘The World Is Bigger Than Me’ is testament to the time and work he has invested in the artists he has worked with. His first artist album ‘Hardlife’ remains a cult classic and has a silver sales disk to herald its popularity and more recently the huge ‘Wise Up Get Stupid’ Freeformation is fast being hailed as compilation of the year.

As a joint owner of the UK’s fastest growing rave night Freeformation, Sharkey gets to stamp his mad ‘Wise Up Get Stupid’ ethics on the worldwide scene by injecting fun as well as quality music into what is proving to be one of the best atmosphere’s around.

Kaotik is still his calling card and the label, now on its tenth release is as strong as ever and has featured stand out, upfront artists like Ephexis, Arkitech, Gammer, Darwin and AC Slater. The label’s sound comprises Hardcore in all it’s shapes and sizes at the cutting edge of the scene. Kaotik like its name and it’s owner is true to it’s values and provides music for all hardcore lovers.

Sharkey is a hugely adaptable DJ. The success of his career has undoubtedly been due to this unique diversity and knack for always standing out loud and proud from the every day trends that get rinsed. He is a true pioneer in his field and a full on party mover. When he steps up and takes control it's time for the rest to step back! As well as storming through the UK playing at any well known event including Glastonbury and Glade, Sharkey regularly plays at events all over the world including Enchanted Festival Australia, Nocturnal Wonderland USA, Canada, Finland and Japan.

Watch out New Zealand – The crazy Sharkey is back along side his sidekick Mr Energy to cause havoc and mahem in 2007 as only he knows best!

Tinnitus 06 Added by kenny (0 Attending)

We’re back at the freshly-refurbished Red House (new smoking terrace, extra room, bigger bar, better selection of drinks, permanent late licence and lots of other cool stuff) for a messy breakcore/hardcore/bangbangbang session on Friday, 16 November 2007, showcasing acts from Buxton’s Marionette Records and 2 *very* special guests.

From the aforementioned label the following wrong’uns will be ‘performing’ (we use the term very loosely):

Eraserhead
Terrorhate
Faux Pride
Mertcore
Monster Plastic

Making the trip up from London will be braindamageradio boss guy and Braindrop resident Dj Disowned, being generally hardcore.

Travelling even further will be Wrong Music’s Demon Cabbage - generally a bit of an unsung hero on the UK Breakcore scene, being that he runs the label with legendary ‘kerr-azy guy’ Shitmat. We saw him play in Oxford a while back and had to book him - basically he’s ace.

As well as all that Distorted Panda will be doing what he does best (no, not masturbating), Sam TINNITUS will be playing some old skool and Sinista Tek is going to play a very short, but very intense metal/grindcore set. You have been warned.

We’ll be running from 9pm-5am, the Dangernoise/Ind.St. crew will be on hand as ever to provide the decibels, and the entrance fee is £0. Yes, it’s another TINNITUS freeparty.

An event that will live in the mind for a lifetime. That event is here. That time is now. You have waited, you have dreamed and you have hoped, and finally we are proud to present you with the most anticipated performance in our dance music history. SCOOTER
Exclusive Dex'n'Effects performance feat. Incredible MC H.P. Baxxter Live on the mic!
The Ultimate Aural Orgasm Tour 2007

We want to ask you something: are you ready for the sounds of Scooter? This question was posed in Scooter's first smash-hit "Hyper Hyper", and a question we are now thrilled to ask you. Without question the most demanded act in Sydney's dance music history, Scooters music has transcended through generations of dance music punters, with their classics still played as often as their new hits. Scooter have managed to evolve constantly, keeping up a constant barrage of hits that has sold them millions of records around the world. From the Logical Song to Endless Summer, from Nessaja to Always Hardcore, Back in the UK, Maria, Fire and to their brand new smash-hit The Question Is What Is The Question, Scooter remain the worlds leading dance act with millions upon millions of fans all over the world. Finally, 13 years after Hyper Hyper first hit out stores, they are here to deliver the performance that Sydney has been craving for years. Michael Simon will be in charge of the beats, Rick J. Jordan will be rockin' the audio and the Radical MC HP Baxxter will be doing what he does so well, rockin the crowd live on the microphone with all of Scooter's latest and greatest hits - and whatever else they have in store for you. The performance Sydney has waited a decade for has arrived. SCOOTER... ARE YOU READY?

Scott Brown:
Voted the world's Number One Hardcore DJ, Scattered is proud to welcome back Scott Brown. The owner of Evolution Records and Evolution Plus, Scott is responsible for anthems that have touched generations of ravers - from the old skool days of Now Is The Time and The Rezerection Anthem (Do what ya like) to Nu Skool anthems like Elysium Plus, Definition of a Bad Boy, Gang Bang Society, Neckbreaker and Boomstick. Despite his world #1 ranking he's one of the most down to earth people in the international scene, and is easily the most recognised name in the Hardcore movement. Without question, Scott Brown is one of the hardcore elite - and get ready for him to show you why at Scattered!

Kevin Energy & Sharkey
Scattered is proud to host the UK’s Nu Energy Collective’s and Freeformation’s ‘Wise Up Get Stupid’ 2007 Australia / New Zealand tour featuring the head honcho crazy crowd pleasing DJ’s Sharkey and Kevin Energy straight from the UK. Hot off the heals of their ‘Wise Up Get Stupid’ CD and arguably the biggest year for the popularity of the Freeformation rave night, there’s been no better time to come and rock to two firmly established DJ’s that like nothing better then rocking a party and rocking alongside you! The crazy antics of Sharkey mixed up with the savvy of Kevin Energy, could any freeform lover possibly ask for anything more?

THE MAIN EVENT
Hosted in the legendary Whitlam Centre, the venue of this party will be a spectacle just as big as our international performers. A true colossus of a venue, this indoor arena is a true testament to modern design - a massive sports stadium that holds thousands upon thousands of people on the dance floor complete with grandstand seating that will be open to the public all night, allowing everyone the opportunity to not only dance in a sea of thousands on the main floor, but also watch the party with a birds eye view of the stage from the grandstands. For those of you who remember the old skool basketball stadium mega-events of yesteryear, the Whitlam Centre is more than twice the size of Alexandria Basketball Stadium and even bigger than the legendary Centennial Basketball Stadium in Minto - and that's not even taking into account our grandstands! However, what good is an epic venue and the cream of international live acts without the best in production? Scattered has always been infamous for ground breaking productions, and as we construct the biggest event yet you can be assured that trend will continue. Imagine walking into our massive venue, and looking at the huge stage in front of you. There are hundreds of beams of lights sparkling in the air, being sliced by some of the most powerful laser systems in Australia, all bouncing around in time to one of your favorite songs being played on a thunderous sound system - yet still crystal clear. You decide to walk to the second room and are confronted by banging bass, intense production and an outdoor area to relax in. Still exploring this massive venue, you decide that it's time for a break from the party. You head to the second outdoor area where you can find the amusement rides, market stalls, a bar and the VIP area. There's so much choice you don't know what to do... And that's the fun of it all, and the fun that people have out our events is why we're one of the most talked about parties in Sydney. This is it, the party ravers have wanted for years. The biggest international act ever to appear at a Sydney rave, a pure dance party mega-venue and a production of epic proportions. This is Scattered. This is the party that people will be talking about for years to come. Get ready for the main event!

VIP
Do you want to get up close and personal with our performers, grab some autographs, chill in your own private area with VIP-only toilets, a VIP bar and plentiful cushions to relax on? Do you want free hot food till midnight, and somewhere to escape from the main event all night? Then you need to be a VIP. For an extra $20 on top of the ticket price you can purchase one of the exclusive VIP lanyards (yellow in colour).
