Not as scary as I was hoping for. I was hoping there would be something more cynical or paranormal-based with the people in the masks (with it being from the people who were behind some great horror flicks). The twist though was really good, and the suspense.

Paranormal? I didn't see anything remotely like that in the previews it was pretty self explanatory to me. Haven't seen it yet though, and in no rush to either. I'll wait until it's up on redbox.

The concept sounded really interesting when I first heard about it. But when I saw the trailers it didn't look anywhere near as sinister as I was hoping. Funnily enough, Sinister - also starring Ethan Hawke - is a horror that I still need to see.
The Purge has also got Lena Headey in it, which is a massive plus. The woman's an absolute fox.
