Thanks for all the help so far, looking at the prices, its going to be second hand only for me lol. Anyway do I need to buy it unlocked? Or can I buy it using Orange (thats what shes on now) how easy is it to use an existing sim card on them?

id say 4s

buying it unlocked is the best idea especially if you dont know if your going to stay with orange forever

iphone 4s require a microsim which you can obtain from your carrier- they can just port your number/info to another sim
