Doesn't seem as bad as Rankin, no randomly out of tune samples, just sped up stuff. Doesn't sound that bad really.

Nowadays there are a plenty of "nightcore creators" on YouTube. Sped up stuff, and Nightcore is no longer an artist, but a style and a tag.
You could accuse them for mostly not crediting the artists, but even normal tag-uploaders do that. People's habits to the side, its like tag-uploading with sped-up tracks, and a good style if you prefer sped up pitchy stuff.

I used to think Nightcore was an artist(s) but apparently it's now a verb. You can now 'nightcore' a happy hardcore track by pitching it up severely.
EDIT: and yeah, sometimes it sounds awful but I'm not all against the idea...happy hardcore has always been pitched up right from the first beat when it was DJ'd at raves so I don't mind people speeding stuff up so long as it doesn't sound awful. From DJing myself I've noticed a few tracks which create totally different vibes when played at 175 and then at 180+ Triple J tracks in particular...if I wanna open up with the panoramic mix of Wonderful World I will normally start at 175bpm but if you cut out the intro and bring it in mid-set at 182bpm it builds some nice cheesy bouncy momentum

I actually experimented with this idea once, I made a mix at 200-220 BPM, with all ~175 hardcore songs.
The result wasn't too bad, if I do say so myself.

not much better than the people who named songs "Happy Hardcore - Shooting Star" back in the Na*pster days. I still say, lets shoot them.
