I only really use Facebook for status updates; with Twitter, you can set it to update your Facebook status without having to go to it, therefore not having to read everyones quizes/numerology crap.

Be sure to follow NASA, that is another thing that drew me to it.

Most of the people that I know that use twitter are in the professional field. It's for people to network in their line of work or to create mutual connections. It's basically a slightly more mature version of FB.

But with so many people signing up on it that have no real business being there, it'll definitely become another FB pretty soon. FB was seen as a myspace for the mature, now i'm not seeing much of a difference between the two.

yeah. I agree with ya there. I don't. correction. CAN'T use my private message feature on facebook because of the amount of SPAM I get daily. There's SPAM. & there's taking the absolute piss!
