i can help you you need a piece of software that will allow you to create music and arrange it any of these will do MAGIX MUSIC MAKER, CUBASE, EJAY (not that good to honest) they are the main streem easy ones to use as for getting the beats and synths into it beast thing is to get some sample cd's that contain fx beats of differant styles and buy a keyboard that has MIDI input which will allow you to place stuff on keyboard and it will go to your pc on the software you are using go to yamaha they make the best keyboards ever (well im not sure about that but mine works fine ; ) ) just get a good spec pc or laptop macs are best for music production but software is alcking but the software that is available is superb (trust me on this one excellent but exspensive) windows xp proffesional with a good graphics card big memoey sound card dvd/rw and set of good speakers that will conect to your pc/laptop also make sure it has a mic port in it with your laptop/pc so you can attatch a mic to it or something you want to record hope this has helped most of the software for this starts around £50 and pc and laptops with decent stuff £1,000 - £2,000 keyboard anything from £500 - £2,000 but any will do depends on how serious you are about doing it

cubase is a great program i didn't need to read the manual only for the input of samples i didn't know that but as soon as i got that it was easy.. just try and things will work out in no time.. ejay is a program that is frielndly to use but you can't sell your songs because it's licensed.. magix music maker don't no how it works after getting cubase is havn't looked at it... but seems to be a great program.. then for beginning dj's you also got MODPLUG (or you can get it from me used it in the early day's), fruity loops and reason.. not that hard to make music just know your tools ;) tell me if you need modplug you can't get it anymore and it will teach you how to wirte a song note by note..

i sold 3 great track i made with ejay but then i got a e-mail withing it from the makers of ejay that i have to pay a part of it to them i checked if it where them by phoning them.. the samples of ejay are copyright protected.. you can fill in your own samples then it's legal.. but the program works fine with me no complaining..

Wait if u paid ejay a share of your money for using there samples then this is paying royalties isn't it? It's just that I thought that all the samples on Ejay are royalty-free, so therefore they cannot take a penny of your earnings
