i have been told that soundforge is good for recording my mixes onto my PC, burn them to cd and add effects and stuff but there are 4 different types of the softwear! Whish is the best one to get. there is the first one for £40 up to soundforge pro which is £200?

I use sound forge 6.0. there's been two updates since I got that but it does the job...no point in getting the professional one for just recording mixes
