I like DnB and the tunes do sound good in a rave, but i've never really cared for the attitude you get in a DNB rave. It's always full of big groups of people walking around giving it the big-un, people getting jacked, fights breaking out etc. The DNB sound is all about attitude and that always seems to reflect in the atmosphere of the room.

When you go to Slammin Vinyl, for example, you can literally feel the mood shift as you walk between the Hardcore and DNB rooms. At harcore raves the atmosphere is so much better, everyone wants to be your mate, people are there to have a good time not to start shit, there's just the feel of a more genuine love for the music.

In a DNB room, you bump into someone and they square up to you and try and start a fight, whereas in a Hardcore room you bump into someone and they apologise to you. There's just an all round better vibe about the place.

DnB rave isn't too different from a regular rave. I'm not a die hard fan of it but every now and then some tunes catch my attention. I know a few dope DnB DJ's :)
