I don't know if this will help most people, but I and a couple of other people are currently working on hardcore (not punk)lyrics.
At the site http://www.hardcorelyrics.org we try to include as many as possible of the more hard-heard lyrics, but we still need help doing this. We will appreciate any contributions, and some sort of recognition is also available for those who work hard.
We have a form-based engine to submit lyrics too, for those who are willing to share their wisdom about hardcore music. Hope some of you will find answers to questions at the site.
Cheers.

Oh hell. I started browsing that site and it just hurts my eyes.
I'm sorry but I can't find anything with such an interface.
Think about us with text-based browsers.
And thats written in IFRAMES.
Some people cannot even access that site with their browsers.
Aaaaarrgh....

Despite a few minor flaws, it is quite helpful

one thing though, Dragu... It would be cool to see all of the lyrics together. I mean like if you can't think of anything to search then you can't look at any lyrics, lol.
it would be a good idea to have a 'browse' section where you could just look through all the lyrics without searching

Oh really, care to give the names and catalogue numbers of the compilations then? As i havent seen any compilations that have mislabeled track names as they are on that site. Would like to find the source of those mistakes.
Your site would have its spot on the internet no doubt, as there are many people in need for sites like that. But when even the track names are wrong, i cant see myself bookmarking it. Maby with a lot of work it will become a good site, now its just something that has been done many times before. As all those tracks with the same mistakes, can be found on various lyric sites. So far Radiokate's Hardcore lyric site is the best there is and has been.

Hehe, yea, ive updated it every now and then. But to be honest our database system is made for records, so it doesnt work that well with lyrics. Silver would have to make another database system for just lyrics to it work properly. Maby with the v.3 something will come, but now the lyrics in the database are more like "extra" info of the records :)

It actually reads with bolded text on the search site that to see all lyrics, just type "all" in the search box.

I agree on that Radiokate's site has the broadest database I've ever seen (by far).
The thing is just that the whole hardcorelyrics.org is built on an open-source mentality (being run on 100% open-source software and written purely in open-source scripts etc. (with compability for all text-based browsers and open-source software I know, but also standardized and lighweight)), meaning the whole purpose of the site is not to be a ready package to be thrown on the public and await applause; but to have people contribute, and by time largen the database.
Wikimedia works on this principle and I think it works really well.

Ok took a better look at the site.
Some track name errors seems to be fixed already. Those still need to be fixed ->
Scott Brown - Fly With You
\\ Happy 2B Hardcore Chapter 7
That track is not on that CD, on that CD theres a track Fade "Fly With You", but the lyrics arent for neither of those tracks, typo?
Rave Allstars - Hardcore Feelings
Should be Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo "Hardcore Feelings", there were some minor errors on the lyrics, click from that link the trackname to get the correct lyrics. I've written them from the singles cover, so they should be correct.
DJ Stompy - Star Tonight
Should be Abeyance & Stompy "Star Tonight"
La Style - James Brown Is Dead
Broken link, asks if i wanna dl the txt file.
Children Of The Night
Should be Nakatomi "Children Of The Night"
Also most of the lyrics seemed to have \ signs all over the place. e.g. "It's" is written like that -> "It\'s" same with all words that has the ' sign.
CLSM feat. Stefan B - Drifting Away
Typo, when you browse the lyrics by name, there Stefans name is written wrong.
Blaah, its friday and ill have to go drink some beer now...

Actually, you can find "hardcore" on many 90's "party albums" that mostly consist of pop. Heck; I've found acid jazz on one.
One might try some of the compilations released under the name "Sonic Party"( as in SEGA's superhero.) They include some cheesier happy tunes. One of my exes lent me a bunch of compilations a couple of years ago and they included some ravey tunes, along with those "happy hardcore"-mislabelings.
Thanks alot for taking a closer look, whispering.
Thats exactly what the website needs ; Exact knowledge and fulfillment.
I'll do my best to fix those typo's etc.
Anyone know if the "rave allstars" even exist as an artist/band?
My friend just found loads of hardcore audio tapes with rave allstars written on them and I assumed they were some sort of artist/release.
PS. I suspected hardcore feelings was by charly lownoise & mental theo.
Good to know for sure though.

Yea, i know. I have one that has Oldskool hardcore, cheesy happy hardcore, trance, eurodance etc on it. The label K-Tel and other big labels released many compilations like that in the 90's here.

Well, I did check it before correcting. And discogs says there is an artist called Rave Allstars (seems to be a Hard Trance artist?), that has a track called "Hardcore Feelings". Havent heard it, but on discogs it says it was released in 2004, its a cover of the Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo track, as there also the "written" credits goes to Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo. But the one i sayd is the HHC one, the original and the one people assosiate the track with :) So the Rave Allstars wasnt "compleatly" wrong.
