as the title say i want to fget some cd decks and a mixer but im unsure of which one(s) . a mate in work whos a dj said i should look at getting some pioneer cd decks but i thought i'd better ask you lot on ere first as everyone on here is all knowing so some help would be good, thanks

Pioneer 100's
I currently use 1 & it is highly spiffing!!!
Easy to use, easy to load, easy to cue up, the effect's are even half decent wooo.

i would say it depends on what you want to do with it...
if you want to scratch, get e pioneer cdj1000, if you dont have athat much money and still want to scratch - get the stanton c304, it does everything that the cdj1000 does, but its only £350.
if you dont need to scratch, then the pioneer cdj100 or 200 would be fine :)

i think ill invest in the cdj 1000 cause i might learn how to scratch as well, does anyone know wheres the best place to get them appart from ebay?

Both Guildford Sound and Light and Saphires do good mail order. If you want the best price phone round a few shops getting quotes, most of them will try and beat the others so you could save quite a bit.

Them or decks.co.uk(i think) are usually the cheapest of the specialist places
And djstore are rather good, never had any problems plus delivery was quick
