Wonder if you could help me out. I work in a night club, and during the day I can go there to use the decks, so today I decided to record myself.
I connected my MiniDisc to the record output on the mixer, but listening back on it now at home the volume dips in some places, and when the mix is coming to the last couple of songs it skips some parts of the song when it didn't skip when I was playing the tunes.
Any ideas on how I can make a perfect recording in the club?
Also I'm going to try and record a Saturday night, but I would like to know if there's a way I could record the crowd (something like Hardcore Heaven Awards)

Was the input level set right on the minidisc? Mine will distort and that if the volume is too loud for it to handle.

There's no recording volume set and I did use the correct input this time lol as last time I tried I put the cable into the mic input on the MiniDisc lol

Sounds like the input is too loud to me, have you anyway to turn it down?
or it might not be that at all lol...

I can turn the volume on the mixer down but just sounds shit lol as u got a club that never gets 2 play hardcore and when u just put it on a quiet loud but not that loud it just makes the system work 4 a change LMAO ;)
