I am pleased to announce that as of this week I will be taking over the running of DFM Records in its entirity and that the label is far from finished. One Focus (a new venture) is still very much going ahead but will now be an outlet for more experimental and freeform based music.
I sold my share in DFM Records last year and I'd like to thank Si for doing a good job of running the label on his own since that time, I hope you'll agree that the quality of releases has remained high. Now though he feels its time to move on from dance music, which has presented me with the chance to get back something which to be honest I wish I'd never given up in the first place. Needs must etc but I'm glad Ive got the chance to carry on what we started with the label and hopefully improve it further.
Forthcoming releases now look like this (both out this autumn):
DFM010: 'G.E.O.S'
A: Everyday
B: Atmosphere
DFM011: 'Fracus & Oli G Feat. Donna Grassie'
A: Feel the light (Deejaybee Remix)
B: Feel the light (Oli G Remix)
Expect more of the music style the label has become known for, I'm back in the studio with Gavin G, Paula and Donna Grassie over the coming weeks along with collaborations with In Effect, Deejaybee and hopefully some other up & running artists. The entire DFM Records back catalogue will be available (high quality digital masters) for download from the new IMO download site from its launch next week all being well. Expect many new releases, new artwork, t-shirts and a website update over the autumn as well.
Also a massive thankyou to everyone who has supported the label in the past in whatever respect, I hope I can carry on the good job Si has been doing. Much respect.

Best news I heard since I found out Simon's goat Ingrid wasn't pregnant!
Its really good you've come back to the scene mate, and I am really looking forward to the new DFM releases!

I was pretty happy at that aswell, nothing worse than trying to bring up a half goat half man animal!
Glad to hear the DFM releases coming back nice and strong, has definatly been one of my favourite "newer" labels over the past year or so.
