In Loving Memory of David Edge, also known as DJ Fade in his previous existence ?

Passed peacefully: April 21st, 2023.

Liquid Nights by DJ Fade was a historic moment for the UK hardcore scene: https://youtu.be/xYEG6nn4WU

Changing Everyday by Starchaser, aka DJ Fade, is also one of the best happy hardcore tracks in existence in my humble opinion due to its intense listenability and supreme level of euphoria: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvAJrcdbRvI

I understand this track was over-compressed during the mixdown stage and destroyed its intended clarity and magical presence. If it wasn't for these mischievous unfoldings, this track would have been an easy 11 in my eyes.

A similar amount of over-engineering may have also been applied to Mobotron which is also one of best tracks out there for its energy, creativity and dancefloor magic. However, it didn't really affect the quality of the track as much as other examples.

Mobotron would have also been an 11 too. Before you slate me, I do understand it's trance reengineered at a higher tempo.

Mobotron by Project X, aka DJ Fade: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJ7ThxRnBvE

Project X was meant to continue well into the future, but for various reasons wasn't able to continue producing this extraordinary style.

Another Fade track that was annihilated at mixdown stage:

Want Your Love by Fade & Brisk: https://youtu.be/hM3dEG6VphI

Imagine the above track in crystal clear clarity, an easy 10/10 if it wasn't so heavily tweaked, imho.

DJ Fade was an unknown God within the English hardcore music circuit, and well let's just say I will not say anything further on this topic.

That's all folks.

Didn't really listen to his stuff, but still a sad loss for the scene. Bananaman unfortunately confirmed the news on social media a few months ago.
