I'm sure Smoogie will be on the Desperados later in celebration.

I am actually quite mild on my views on Brexit but things seem to be going well at last and just glad that it is over with and some good times look like they are ahead!

Anyway to celebrate, here is a song:

.................................................

We feel so extraordinary
Boris got a hold on me
We get this feeling we're in motion
A sudden sense of liberty

When we was a very small country
Other countries laughed at us
Now that we've grown up together
They're afraid of what they see
That's the price that we all pay
And the value of remain come to nothing
We could not tell you where we where going
I guess there was just no way of knowing

We used to think that the day would never come
But since Boris it has been much more fun
Our Boris is the power that brings prosperity near
Replaced the parliament that was full of pain and fear
We used to think that the day would never come
That our life would depend on the morning sun

We used to think that the day would never come But since Boris it has been much more fun Our Boris is the power that brings prosperity near Replaced the parliament that was full of pain and fear We used to think that the day would never come That our life would depend on the morning sun

I could hear the fireworks by me at 11pm last night.

There's some crying on twitter today.

I didnt have particularly strong feelings on the brexit debate back in 2016. I was on holiday at the time so didnt vote although I probably would have voted remain if I had the chance. Since then however I have come to realise exactly how much of a steaming pile of shite the EU is. Despite all the scare stories I think it will be better for us in the long term.

The less politicians we have affecting our lives the better. Lets crack on with it.

I watched the Boris speech was was smooth and cool as expected and then the Farage speech. Such a shame that the BBC have acted unprofessional and focusing on 'disappointed remainers' (there is no such thing as remain anymore) when I know most people who voted remain have accepted it and are just glad that it is other with.

It was nice to see leave voters finally get what they voted for after a lot of anxiety over the past couple of years and Britain is able to move on.

There will be a lot of tears for a while and already we have a rejoiner camp and I have spotted a few who are in complete denial and are convinced that we are still part of the EU!

But alas, times are changing and with Boris as PM we can now move forwards full steam ahead!

Similar with me. I switched from wanting to leave and even being tempted by UKIP nearly a decade ago and then I chickened out in the referendum and went casual remain only for safe keeping but then realised that leave did not seem so bad after all and since Boris I have come to look forward to it.

Also looking at the EU trying to keep us in and the dirty actions of so called remainer politicians I realised that remain is not a cool camp and want nothing to do with that side

What I find funny is everyone is complaining about the thing they voted for :)

I'm not complaining about leaving the EU ?

I couldn't be happier it's finally begun.

Now we can make changes to this country and try to make it a little better.
