I've seen a lot of smashed and cut faces and a lot of blood splashed over a lot of pavements over the years....
most of it caused by alcohol.... and it's 'legal'.
So....
....let's all make a big fuss about drugs.

As for the dog thing, the only hardcore event that I have been to that had sniffer dogs was Helter skelter....energy 97, I can tell you that I almost shit myself when I saw them......obviously had reason to!! lol it definitley made me very nervous. But that was the only time

Actually the key active ingrediant in a proper pill MDMA is extremely difficult to overdose on and there has been no documented report worldwide of an overdose of MDMA, people are O.D'ing on what dealers cut it with, thats where pill testers come in....Know your substance!!

How many druggies get lab tests for their drugs? Ill guess none. Taking it and not dying, is not a very reliable test :P Many of the people here that get loads of illegal alcohol from Russia or Estonia (96% is not allowed as a drink), test it in labs before drinking.
Also comparing alcohol poisoning to overdoses is the stupidest thing ever. Theres shit loads of more people that drink, then people that use illegal drugs.

Actually if you look at the percentages of people who die from XTC related deaths in comparison to alcohol related deaths you will see that far less people die from taking XTC. Pills tend to have a much worse effect on mental healh than alcohol if abused. Myself and many other people I know use pill testing kits to make sure there clean :P.

What percentages? The numbers were per population, not per user. You look the drugusers through some glamourish glasses that make all look like happy, happy, rainbows and unicorns. That is not reality. Also i highly doubt the effectivness of pill testing kits. Which chemicals they see?

I think Baldo has said it all for me really. I'm not promoting drug use as a safe pastime, I just wish people would get the facts right before they hammer people who choose to do them, especially people who do stuff that's just as bad but think "it's legal so it can't possibly be as bad". I don't think everything's all plur and rainbows believe me ;) I take them mainly for stamina at a rave and a slight boost to your state of mind all the "love" crap is blown way out of proportion.
Yeah there is plenty crap in pills round here. I've entirely stopped buying off several people cus they just seem to always be rammed with Ket. I'm sure drug testing kits aren't entirely 100% going to ensure you get clean pills but it's the best precaution you can take (aside from buying pure mandy and testing that).
Bone - you can also get test kits at most "bong shops".
